The Devon Nook (1Bed) Details

Bookings now being taken for this cottage for stays from Friday 19th December 2025 onwards….

The Devon Nook is small but perfectly formed!  

A cosy open plan living room and kitchen means you can really make the most of your time together.  You’ll find a new Smart TV and of course free Wi-Fi. We are gloriously remote which can very occasionally mean the WiFi is tricky but usually the service is adequate for streaming etc.

There is one cosy bedroom with a king size bed.  A luxury Emma mattress and crisp white cotton rich bedding will ensure you enjoy an excellent sleep.  If you can’t get away with leaving the children at home, there is also a very comfy king size sofa bed which can accommodate a further one or two guests - please note however that the Nook is a very tiny cottage and 4 guests will feel a bit of a squeeze!

The kitchen is well equipped, with a dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer and a microwave and a Tassimo coffee pod machine. There are communal laundry facilities available to use free of charge in a separate building a few yards away.

Please note the bathroom has a bath with a handheld shower attachment - there are further shower facilities within the changing rooms by the swimming pool when the pool is open.

The larger Devon Burrow is right next door, and the Devon Snug next to that and so all are ideally placed to be booked together for extended family holidays, or if you want to holiday with friends but would prefer not to share! Indeed all 6 of our cottages are less than a minute’s walk from each other.

There is a small enclosed and very sunny little decking area for your use, with outdoor furniture and beautiful distant views of Dartmoor.  

The Nook is all on one level, but please note there is a very slight incline and a few steps up to the decking in order to access the entrance. Like all our cottages, the Nook is dog friendly.

Check in is at 3pm and we ask you to make your departure by 10am on the day you leave.  Early arrivals and late departures can sometimes  be accommodated on request outside of busy seasons; if requested and available there will be a small extra charge for this.
